interestingly monday drive to work was more relaxing than ever… dunno how that happened with Myanmar’s traffic always being crazy! but today’s drive allowed me to think… yes something i dont do a lot! AHAHAHAHAHAA joke!
i think i wud rather like to live sederhana (moderately).. i dont want to be super rich or super powerful.. as long as i make enough for my family to enjoy good education, good life and good holidays… thats all that matters. sederhana will make u humble, it will not allow u to be in excess… i find that i have a lot of excess… shoes, bags, clothes.. and i dun have time to wear them all.. sigh! thats Nafsu for u! but yes i think living in Myanmar really makes me appreciate what i have… really opens up the eyes when u see the little kids playing by the side of the dirt road while their mom tries to sell her jasmine flowers everyday.. they look happy tho.. kids laffing.. mom looking lovingly at them even wen they live barely. sigh! jihad al nafs.. a battle within.. struggling everyday! insya Allah we will beat it… AMIN!
